I like colour, trees and flowers, sunshine and thunderstorms, cats and dogs, books and magazines, silence and water, birds singing, the smell of fresh bread and the earth after it rains, simple details, the sea and big skies ... after doing many distinct things in life I decided to swap a settled job for the challenges of becoming a ceramist.

i have seen signs of summer fading here as well
I felt the same the past couple of days, although we are experiencing our hottest days this week. Lovely images, do you crochet? Hope your days are wonder filled. Thinking of you. ox
With the terrible heat we have all suffered this year, it's nice to think that soon we will have Autumn. The white is so peaceful and serene and a nice rest for the eyes.
The night fell at 9.20 tonight and the rest of the evneing was all about pouring as i drove to the movie theater.
I don't feel I'm ready for Autumn thought, because we haven't had enough sun so far. I have my fingers crossed for an Indian summer at least.
I agree with Marilyn that white is so soothing & relaxing in a the house
