the colours of spring

I have the feeling that a long time has elapsed since I have been here. I have forgotten to tell you about the beauties of spring, of how when I walk under a jacaranda tree these days I look up and see a purple sky, of how the catalpa trees leave a "popcorn" blanket under my feet and a sweet scent, of how the pink and red bougainvilleas are swept by the wind into islands scattered in the park, of how the rain pours suddenly in the late afternoons and thunderstorms roll into the night ... spring has been fast and beautiful and I feel times are changing!

I absolutely love bougainvillas! They do not grow where I live but occasionally I will treat myself and plant one in a pot during the summer. I've never been able to keep them alive indoors over the winter though. Such gorgeous photos of your beautiful spring blooms!
~by the way my forget me nots look amazing in your pebble vase in my window sill!

Such a lovely set of images, the petals are so pretty. We just planted two bougainvillas, hoping they will do well. So glad you are doing so well and enjoying these gorgeous spring days. Take care of yourself. Thinking of you.

adoro a cor forte das buganvilias do Algarve! adorava ter uma casinha caiada de branco com uma buganvilia rosa choque na entrada :)
