BREAKFAST YESTERDAY


No added sugar cake (recipe below) + fresh pear + toasted almonds + strained natural yogurt + barley drink . Good morning ... have a wonderful day! :)

No added sugar carrot, sultana and apple cake (from here with slight changes)
80g chopped dates
200g sultanas
200ml freshly squeezed orange juice (I believe it will be good with any sort of milk as well)
80g grated carrot
2 small grated apples
180g white flour + 80g whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp baking powder
70ml mild flavoured vegetable oil (I used corn oil)
2 small eggs
Put the dates, sultanas and orange juice into a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for approx 5 mins.  In the meantime grate the carrots and apples, add to the sultana mix and allow to cool until at room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC, 350ºF. Slightly oil a loaf tin and dust it with a bit of flour.
Combine the flours, nutmeg and baking powder into a bowl.
Add the oil and eggs to the cooled sultana mix and then add the dry ingredients.
Pour into the loaf tin and bake for 45 mins or until a knife comes out mostly clean (with this much fruit and vegetables in a cake, even when cooked the knife won't be spotless)


Bolo sem açúcar adicionado (receita em baixo) + pêra + amêndoas torradas + iogurte natural coado + bebida de cevada . Bom dia ... tenham um bonito dia! :)

Bolo sem açúcar adicionado com cenoura, passas e maçã (daqui com algumas alterações)
80g tâmara cortadas aos pedaços
200g passas sultanas
200ml sumo de laranja natural (penso que também deve ficar bem com leite)
80g cenoura ralada
2 maçãs pequenas raladas
180g farinha branca + 80g farinha integral
1/2 colher (chá) noz moscada
1 tsp fermento em pó
70ml óleo de milho
2 ovos pequenos
Colocar as tâmaras, sultanas e sumo de laranja num tacho e levar ao lume durante cerca de 5 minutos. Apagar o lume e juntar a cenoura e a maçã ralada. Deixar arrefecer. Aquecer o forno a 180ºC. Untar uma forma de bolo inglês com um pouco de óleo e polvilhar de farinha.
Combinar as farinhas, noz moscada e o fermento.
Juntar o óleo e os ovos à mistura de passas e fruta e misturar as farinhas de seguida mexendo bem. Colocar na forma e levar ao forno cerca de 45 minutos até firme e dourado por cima.
