Marvelous giveaway, Paula! Thank you in advace for the chance.
p.s. I believe in the joyful power of swallows. They are always happy, they sing all the time. My childhood home has a wooden ceiling porch where swallows used (even nowadays) to build their nests. My family has a great respect for them. I know when spring arrives because my father puts pieces of cardboard under their nests to protect the floor and his car parked for the night :)

I would be so happy to win the lovely swallows. It would actually be the only spring sign for me since it is snowing again here.

Hi Paula!
I love visiting your blog, and I really enjoy your artwork and beautiful photography!
When I was little my family would visit my grandparents every March, in (what was then) a small town down in southern California called - San Juan Capistrano. In March the town hosts a "Swallow's Day" parade - in honor of the returning swallows, who come back to build their nests, mostly at the local mission. My cousins would ride their horses in that parade :) All of this is to say... your pretty porcelain swallows remind me of those special times! Thank you...

Tens uma andorinha
guardada no teu coração,
chega a primavera e ela voa
para a minha mão.

Obrigada pelas coisas bonitas
que nos fazes ver,
abres a janela do teu mundo
feito de natureza
e fazes-nos também querer.

um beijo.

Swallows are not here yet, I am waiting for them, I am waiting for their song up in the sky, but it is not really springtime yet, anyway, I sowed sweet peas yesterday...

Ufa, ufa! Ainda vou a tempo?
Vivo em Inglaterra e, quando vi estas andorinhas, pensei automaticamente na Primavera que teima em não chegar a estas bandas... Continuamos com neve e temperatura abaixo de zero. Que alegria me dariam essas andorinhas!
Beijinhos,
Paula
