OATCAKES + AN INTERVIEW

I had been planning to bake some oatcakes for a while . a few days ago I saw this recipe and made some last night .  they are really, really nice!

já fazia tempo que tinha intenção de fazer umas bolachas de aveia . há uns dias vi esta receita (tradução em baixo) e fiz ontem à noite . são mesmo, mesmo boas!

uma entrevista comigo aqui . . . divirtam-se! *

bolachas de aveia

150gr flocos de aveia

140gr farinha sem fermento

60gr açúcar amarelo

1/2 colher chá bicarbonato de soda

1/2 colher chá sal fino

113gr manteiga sem sal dura cortada em pedacinhos (reduzi a quantidade da manteiga para 90gr)

60ml iogurte natural

um pouco de leite se necessário

aquecer o forno a 180ºC e forrar dois tabuleiros do forno com papel vegetal de cozinha.

numa tigela grande misturar os flocos de aveia, a farinha, o açúcar, o bicarbonato de soda e o sal.

misturar bem.

juntar a manteiga e com os dedos incorporar bem na mistura.

juntar o iogurte e amassar bem até formar uma massa homogénea (se necessário juntar um pouco de leite).

polvilhar bem a bancada de trabalho e o rolo e estender a massa com cerca de pouco mais 1/2 cm (se necessário polvilhe o rolo e a mesa com farinha à medida que vai trabalhando).

cortar bolachas com um cortador de 5cm polvilhado com farinha.

colocar nos tabuleiros e levar ao forno cerca de 15 min. até estarem douradinhos.

esta receita deu para 38 bolachas apesar da original indicar 25 . . . talvez o meu cortador seja mais pequeno ou tenha estendido mais a massa.

a little collaboration I made with sweet zine spoonful . my own interpretation of honeysuckle . made using white unglazed porcelain leaves and flowers combined with some real honeysuckle leaves . now showing in issue no. 8 together with a good handful of some amazing, inspiring, dreamy projects . thank you lovely Anthea :)

em colaboração com a simpática revista spoonful . a minha interpretação da planta madressilva . feita com flores e folhas de porcelana branca sem vidrado em combinação com folhas reais de madressilva . agora no número 8 juntamente com uma boa mão cheia de projects lindos e inspiradores :)

on a side note ... it feels so strange these early autumn days, leaves are golden and falling covering the ground and temperatures reached 33º C today with people on the beach and open windows at night ... I even saw some jacarandas in bloom today ... very unusual!
